Thursday, here in New England we had a bunch of snow drop on us.  

Today the sun is shining brightly, it's beautiful spring weather.  Snow is melting quickly.  Only eleven more days till it is officially Spring!  Have a nice Day ! Be Safe!

    I live in New England.  New England are the six northeastern states of USA.  Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont.  
     One of the many reasons people love/hate it here is the weather. Our four seasons.  Spring, summer, fall , winter.  
     We have sayings here "don't like the weather here?  wait a minute."  Yesterday it was sunny n warm enough to take the sweater off.  I was actually thinking of buying sunglasses and a lounge chair.  
     Walking home from the pharmacy this morning it was so rain,cold, and windy.  The wind was gusting so hard,I had to close the umbrella to get up my street. 
     Love/hate  makes you appreciate the great so much more.  When people complain about rain, as a new englander I'm thankful cause it isn't snow.  When someone says dam its hot, oh yeah it could be minus nine again!  
     Spring is my favorite.  After being stuck in the house cause of old man winter.
The days starts getting longer.  The birds are singing again in the morning.  Many of are song birds fly south for the winter. I love waking up to the birds.  Everything is blooming ,coming alive , just feels like a new beginning!
   

 

     I saw a post on face book that said 8 more days till spring.  I'm not sure where that person was from.  In USA Spring starts on a different day every year.  This year it begins on March 19th.  Seeing it is not a leap year, there are 20 days till spring now!!
     Yeah  Spring!
     That means approximately 4 more months to work out for the beach.

     So glad the weather has decided to give us rain instead of snow.  Except all this rain is killing my bones.  Trying to stay positive.  Looking forward to dry days!!  have a nice day everyone. Keep smiling!  Bree

Dream Catcher

     Right now I am working on a dream catcher, from stuff I have found laying around.  The base is a wire coat hanger.  Where suede lace usually goes I have some sort of twisted up paper type lace I found. I'm waxed cord instead of sinew, cause that's all I had.
     I never totally like anything I make, I see all the mistakes.  This is no except, because I know all the products used were wrong, BUT it's looking good so far. smiles.

I  like this project,its made me feel proud, having used stuff laying around the house.  Anyone who does crafts knows its not cheap.  I want to see if I can look around and see if I can make anything else, with just the stuff I have.

hack emails

     I have an I phone, so I deal with Apple.  Lately I been getting these emails.  They claim they are from Apple.  My account has been locked on blah blah date, I will not be able to use Apple till I log in and address the problem.  The first email I clicked on the link in the email.  The site looked just like Apple, but I remember reading on someones site never click those links, instead go to the site and log in.  so I closed the link.  I went to Apple, signed in, no problems.  
    I believe these emails are password stealing emails.  Anyone with Apple,  be careful.  Everything about these emails look real.
   I wish I could remember where I read the tip of never clicking on links for your sites on emails. Instead go to your site and sign in, because they saved me from be hacked..Have A nice Day

    So I cant drive, (spinal stenosis has made my feet numb) so I do a lot of shopping online. I joined Ebates .  almost anywhere you shop you can get a percent back from Ebates.  Even if it's only one percent, it adds up.  you were going to shop anyway and get nothing!  When I joined I got a ten dollar bonus.  I have already received a check.  Ebates also has a good referral program, fifteen person you refer.  (see page for rules)

     Ebates is really easy to use to.  There is an ebate button you install in your browser when you shop if they have a discount, and I have always gotten one it pops up. you click on the discount, shop as usual.  Whatever percent Ebates told you that would give you ,x what you spent on the site = money you make on ebates.

Auntie Bree:  About Me   I have always loved doing crafts.  when other kids were taking dance and other lessons....I was taking ceramics lessons.  My mother had me enrolled in several crafts of the month clubs.  I can't remember never crafting.  My mom n granny always crafted, and my family is very gifted musically/artsy.
    I could never list the types of things I have done. anywhere from doing feather n ink tats, cake decorating,  jewelry, and bob ross style painting to building a closet.     
     I love carpentry, I can't build a house, but I can fix it up.  I built the cabinets and built most of the inside of my mom's home in Vermont,  I love working with wood.
     I started making clothes for myself at about 16 cause I was interested.  Later on, in life I had to make my own clothes and uniforms cause I had gotten so fat I couldn't find clothes to fit me.
      My other hobby is working out/dancing/weightlifting.  I always loved dancing.  My Two childhood dreams were to be a nurse or a ballerina.  My mom always bought me ballerina slippers growing up and I tried but I was a big girl....
    5 years ago I got divorced.  Changed my life totally.  first time I had totally been on my own cause my mom had passed before the divorce, and my daughter, go married.
       I started working on myself.  I got hooked on working out.  It helps me so much with arthritis pain I've had since a teen.  I usually don't have much pain as long as I'm working out! Plus it makes me feel good.  I'll be glad when it warms up so I can get out and walk again!!!  Hope you enjoy getting to know me!

        I've heard of Pinterest for along time.  Share n save many of the recipes.  Never really got hooked on it.  One day someone shared a DYI wire jewelry bracelet from Pinterest on my face book feed. I clicked on the link. When I Landed on the site, there was 18 Christmas gift ideas under 5 dollar, you can make from things from the dollar store.  Wow!  Lots of cool ideas , I got hooked on the jewelry.
     I have always liked to make jewelry.  these are some of the bracelets I have made (and worn) in the past.
